Meet The Director The Women's HeartCare Center of Evansville is directed by Deborah A. Cortlandt, D.O., one of the tri-state area's only experts treating women's specialized cardiovascular care needs. An Illinois native, Dr. Cortlandt joined Ohio Valley HeartCare and the Women's HeartCare Center of Evansville in 2001. She received her medical degree from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine, where she also completed an internal medicine specialty track internship. Dr. Cortlandt served her residency and a cardiology fellowship at the Medical College of Ohio, and received a master's degree in medical microbiology from the Texas Tech University Health Science Center. An equestrian and fan of "Gone with the Wind," she enjoys collecting memorabilia from this movie and displaying them in her Evansville home, which she shares with her husband, Keith, a family practice physician, and two cats.
